Pine sap is hard to remove on skin. Rather than scrubbing yourself raw, try one of these easy, non-irritating removers.
Mayonnaise is gentle and non-irritating.
Orange oil from the skin of an orange. It will scent the whole house.
Peanut butter smells great while doing the job.
Olive oil can soften skin but is a little less successful.
Gel antibacterial hand sanitizer works great, but let it dry before rinsing.
Alcohol works fine, but is very drying.
Baking soda with a warm moist rag is another solution some swear by.
These are all simple, non-irritating ways to remove that sticky sap. They are safe on children and adults and you're bound to have at least one of them in your house!
