Things You'll Need
Distilled white vinegar
Salt
Boiled water
Baking soda
Get a large gallon jug of distilled white vinegar. Pour the vinegar straight on the sidewalk weeds. do not dilute the vinegar. Be sure to leave the vinegar on the weeds, do not rinse away. Within two days, the sidewalk weeds will be dead and ready to be removed.
Take a 1/2 cup of salt to one quart of boiling water and mix well. Once the salt has completely dissolved, pour the contents on the sidewalk weeds for an immediate result.
Once you have killed the sidewalk weeds, preventing them from coming back is just as easy. Take regular table salt or baking soda and sprinkle on the area where the sidewalk weeds were once alive. Repeat this process once a month for clean sidewalk cracks.
Tips & Warnings
Once the weeds have died, remove and throw away.
