Things You'll Need
corn seeds
garden hoe
water
First, take the garden hoe to one side of the garden and begin digging a shallow trench. You only need to dig the trench about 3 or 4 inches deep. Dig the trench the length of the garden.
After you have dug the trench, take a water hose or bucket of water and fill the trench with water. Allow the soil to absorb the water.
Once the soil has absorbed the water, take the seeds and sprinkle them in a line down the length of the trench.
Then take the garden hoe and go back over the trench, covering the seeds with the dirt from the trench that you dug.
To plant multiple rows of corn, allow 2 to 3 feet between rows and repeat the process above. After you have planted the seeds, you should see some sprouts in about 2 weeks or so.
