Things You'll Need
Hanger hook
Garden spinners
Shepherd’s hook
Flagpole
Hanging basket hooks
Install a hanger hook over the branch of a tree to hang the garden spinner from a tree branch. Because the hanger hook has wide hooks on each end, you use the top hook to attach it to a tree branch and the bottom hook for hanging the garden spinner on. Place the loop of the garden spinner over the bottom hanger hook.
Insert the base of the shepherd’s hook into the ground where you wish to hang the garden spinner. Push the shepherd’s hook at least 6 inches into the soil. Place the loop of the garden spinner over the hook of the shepherd’s hook.
Hang the garden spinner from the end of a garden flagpole. Because most garden flagpoles extend out at a slight angle, this would be an ideal spot to hang your garden spinner.
Loop the garden spinner over a hanging basket hook installed on a house or garage soffit. Because these areas overhang the roof, they are especially suitable for hanging an attractive garden spinner that will spin actively in the breeze. Spinners may be hung any place you have a hanging basket hook.
