Things You'll Need
Container
Growing medium
Watering can
Spray bottle
Balanced fertilizer
Step 1
Fill a 6-to-8 inch growing container equipped with drainage holes with Hawaiian lava rock growing medium. Alternately, make your own growing medium by blending equal parts peat moss, loam and perlite. Plant your Lemon Lime Dracaena at the same depth of its original growing container.
Step 4
Mist the leaves of your Lemon Lime Dracaena plant with water from a spray bottle at least every other day to maintain a healthy level of humidity around the plant.
Step 5
Fertilize your Lemon Lime Dracaena plant once a month with a balanced fertilizer like Blooms Plus, Miracle Grow or Grow More. Apply the fertilizer to your Lemon Lime Dracaena plant according to package directions. Allow your plant to rest over the winter and resume monthly fertilization in the spring.
