Features

Intelligent Engine Management
The main feature of the Stihl MS 280 chainsaw is the Intelligent Engine Management (IEM) system. This system provides you with consistent RPM and engine performance. It uses a microprocessor to control the RPM, and it comes with a digitally controlled magnetic valve. This valves shuts and opens at speeds up to 33 times per second, providing you with a consistent amount of fuel.
