The Toro Company produces various turf maintenance equipment, ranging from lawn mowers to irrigation systems. Toro Dingos -- the company's line of compact utility loaders -- include wheeled models and tracked models with both narrow and wide tracks. Compact utility loaders serve as multi-purpose tractors for moving turf, sand and gravel, though they can also be customized with attachments.
Wheeled Models
The Dingo 220 and Dingo 323 make up Toro's line of wheeled compact utility loaders. This type of compact utility loader is intended for grass and even surfaces. The Dingo 220 is Toro's entry-level compact utility loader. Featuring a 20-horsepower Kohler engine, a two-pump system and two ground speeds, this model's hydraulic system delivers 3,000 pounds per square inch, 14.8 gallons per minute of hydraulic power and a maximum lift capacity of 1,030 lb. The Dingo 323 adds an additional fuel tank, an independent four-wheel-drive system and a 23-hp engine, though it retains the same maximum lift capacity.
Narrow Track Models
Tracked compact utility loaders like Toro's Dingo TX 427 Narrow Track and the Dingo TX 525 Narrow Track accommodate rough terrain such as mud and sand. These narrow-tracked loaders both have Kevler-reinforced rubber tracks with track widths of 5.9 inches. The TX 525 Narrow Track has a liquid-cooled 25-hp Kubota diesel engine. Its hydraulic system runs at 3,000 psi and 13.8 gallons per minute, offering a maximum load capacity of 1,580 lb. Toro's Dingo TX 427 Narrow Track compact utility loader uses a liquid-cooled 27-hp Kohler Command Pro engine and a 3,000 psi, 11.4 pgm hydraulic system. The 427 can lift loads up to 1,530 lb. These models focus on digging, hauling, planting and building. Both of Toro's narrow-track models accommodate the company's range of compact utility loader attachments.
Wide Track Models
The Toro Dingo TX 427 Wide Track and Toro Dingo TX 525 Wide Track compact utility loaders feature the same specifications as the Dingo TX 427 Narrow Track and TX 525 Narrow Track models, except they sport track widths of 9.5 inches. These models feature a low ground pressure suited for delicate turf. Like the narrow-track models, operators control these walk-behind compact utility loaders via three hand controls -- a throttle, a choke and a joystick for the hydraulic loader system. Llike the narrow-track models, these machines are compatible with Toro's line of attachments.
