Mixture
Combine 1 tbsp. of distilled white vinegar with 1 gallon of cold water. Apple cider vinegar is also suitable for this mixture.
Usage
Fill a spray bottle with the vinegar and water solution. Spray the mixture directly on the mossy areas of your lawn, thoroughly saturating the top of the moss. Apply more of the solution daily until the moss dies. If the solution fails to kill the moss in your yard, add more vinegar to the mix.
Warning
Vinegar can kill more than just the moss; it also has the potential to kill anything it comes into contact with. Use caution when applying the mixture to mossy areas around your plants, lawn and trees.
