Features
Impatiens bear five-petaled flowers that bloom from spring to frost in a wide range of colors, including, red, rose, pink, violet, salmon and orange. They bear brittle stems and fleshy, succulent foliage.
Considerations
Impatiens require part shade and a site that is sheltered from wind. They thrive in moist, well-drained soil that is rich in humus.
