Hypoallergenic Flowers
Hypoallergenic Flowers. No one wants to cry at her own wedding, when someone gives her a bouquet, or when working in the garden. But if you're allergic to flowers, that's exactly what might happen. Watery eyes, sneezing, and respiratory problems associated with these allergies can be avoided by choosing less allergenic flowers.

Lilies
Lilies are beautiful in bouquets for vases and at weddings as decorations. These beautiful, large flowers have brown pollen antlers that may be removed, making the flowers entirely pollen free. Since it is the pollen that triggers allergies, these are an excellent choice for those with sensitivities. Lily sap can cause a skin reaction, so they should not be carried by brides.
Orchids
Exotic and beautiful, orchids are a wonderful gift for someone who is allergic to other types of flowers. The majority of orchid plants are non-allergenic. Given in a small pot, they are a long-lasting gift. Orchids can also be carried in bridal bouquets or even worn in the hair, although some people with very sensitive skin might react to the sap from the cut stems, so do a skin test first.
Bougainvillea
In the garden, bougainvillea is a great choice for those with allergies. The plants are beautiful and produce very little pollen. Double flower varieties have no pollen at all. As an added bonus, bougainvillea have almost no scent and are excellent for those with sensitivities to perfumes.
