Playground Equipment
If you have children, or guests with children, there are many different types of playground equipment that you can place in your backyard. You can purchase a swing set, slides, monkey bars and complete playground sets. Another idea for children is installing a sandbox for them to play in. If having a party, people often rent blow-up playground equipment. This includes bouncing blow-up activities and large blow-up slides. Trampolines are commonly placed in people's backyards. These offer fun for both children and adults.

Many people also install a couple of hammocks throughout the yard, ideal for people wanting to take a little break. If your backyard has room, you can install a pond. Place fish in the pond and allow family and friends to fish in it.
