Things You'll Need
Zero turn lawn mower
The first step is to make sure the mower has gas and oil in it. This will make starting it much easier. ha ha!
The next step is to make sure the parking brake is engaged before putting the key into the ignition. The brake has to be on before the mower will start. Once that is done turn the key and crank it up.
Before mowing with the zero turn you will need to set the deck hight so you know how short to cut the grass. You will set that by moving the lever to the desired hight and engaging the mower blades. This is usually done by pressing a button on your control panel. Use the control sticks to steer the mower and you are on your way.
Tips & Warnings
Do not mow if grass is wet, it will cut better and more evenly if its dry
